Since my earliest days, I understood that everything on earth—living and nonliving—have an individual spirit that is part of the greater soul of the universe. I believed that as human beings, it was our responsibility to take care of Pacha mama, our beautiful blue planet. The only way to take care of her is to engage with one another to build a network of solidarity for her wellbeing.
